Artist Statement

My work is a reflection of identity, culture, and transformation. As an artist born in Bogotá and now rooted in New York City, I create from the dialogue between two worlds — one shaped by the vibrancy of Colombian heritage and the other by the rhythm and diversity of this city that never sleeps.

Across paintings, murals, sculptures, and digital art, I build a visual language centered around four recurring symbols: three-line stripes, wildlife, doodles, and portals. These forms connect my story to a broader human experience — the stripes honor my roots, wildlife represents nature’s universal voice, and portals speak to the movement through time, space, and resilience.

Through my recent collections, such as We Are Gold and Rebirth Darkness, I explore the idea that every individual holds intrinsic value — a brilliance that exists beyond struggle, judgment, or fear. My doodles, often playful and spontaneous, celebrate diversity and the freedom to exist authentically.

Ultimately, my art is about connection — between cultures, between people, and within ourselves. It’s an invitation to look beyond the surface and rediscover the gold that lives in all of us.
